“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”
A Madhappy Campaign
-
This past summer 2024, the highly anticipated sequel to Inside Out was released, becoming the highest-grossing animated film to date. To build excitement, a new Madhappy collaboration was launched in early May 2024, just before the movie's debut. With the sequel arriving almost a decade after the original, many fans who grew up with the first film were able to view the new movie from a fresh perspective, having outgrown the age of the film’s main character.

The Inside Out franchise shows us how we connect with our emotions and understand that it's okay to not be okay sometimes. Instead of letting our emotions control us, we should learn to navigate them in a way that fosters a healthy mind and life at large.
Madhappy (clothing and lifestyle brand), through its nonprofit, the Madhappy Foundation, shares a similar mission. The foundation is dedicated to improving mental health worldwide by promoting healthy conversations, dismantling stigma, and providing crucial resources to those in need

Madhappy’s mission seamlessly aligns with the themes portrayed in both Inside Out and its sequel, Inside Out 2. The collaboration is a natural fit, especially given Madhappy's history of partnering with Pixar. These two limited-edition hoodies will contribute 5% of their sales to the Madhappy Foundation (up from their usual 1%), helping to boost visibility for both the brand, the film, and the important message being portrayed.
